Abstract
Hybrid warfare is one of the modern warfare models in the contemporary era. Among the countries that have been subjected to hybrid aggression by the United States in recent years is the Islamic Republic of Iran, which is recognized as an independent and anti-hegemonic state. Despite the importance of this issue, little research has been conducted on this topic. Accordingly, this article seeks to examine the dimensions of the United States’ hybrid warfare against the Islamic Republic of Iran and the strategies to counter it. To achieve this goal, a documentary-analytical research method has been employed. The findings indicate that the U.S. hybrid warfare against Iran encompasses various dimensions, including intelligence, political, economic, social, cyber, and conventional and asymmetric military components. The necessity of maintaining national unity and social cohesion, adopting reciprocal measures, and applying a combined strategy of defense and offense are among the most important approaches to countering U.S. hybrid warfare against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
