The Quarterly Journal of Strategic Studies of the Islamic Revolution aims to present scientific research outcomes and provide a platform for the exchange of views, ideas, and information related to the opinions and thoughts of Grand Ayatollah Khamenei on the Islamic Revolution. Therefore, scholars, researchers and intellectuals are invited to submit their scientific materials (including research articles, book reviews, case studies, methodologies, applied studies, perspectives, conceptual and promotional essays) in accordance with the main themes of the journal and the article submission guidelines.
- A) General Considerations
- Articles must be related to the Islamic Revolution and the strategic thoughts and opinions of Grand Ayatollah Khamenei.
- Articles should accurately report original research activities or the promotion of scientific knowledge carried out by one or more researchers.
- Submitted articles must not have been previously published or submitted simultaneously for publication or presentation in other journals or conferences.
- The name(s) of the author(s), their academic rank, place of employment, complete address, and phone number should be provided at the beginning of the article.
- The complete address of the corresponding author (postal address, phone number, fax number, and email address) must be included in both Farsi and English at the end of the article.
- If research funding has been provided by any organization or institution, the name of the organization or institution must be mentioned in the first footnote on the first page of the article.
- An intellectual property and non-classified security agreement form must be completed and uploaded by the corresponding author.
- B) Structure and Presentation of the Article
- Adhering to the proposed structure is mandatory: Title (in Farsi and English), Abstract (maximum 250 words including purpose, significance, methodology, and main findings), Keywords (maximum 5 words), Introduction (including the statement of the problem and necessity, research question or hypothesis), Theoretical Framework, Detailed Research Data and Discussions, Conclusion, English Abstract (maximum 250 words), English Keywords (maximum 5 words), and References (sources must be cited within the article).
- The main, secondary, and tertiary headings should be in B Zar Bold font sizes 11, 10, and 9, respectively.
- The article should be a maximum of 25 pages, prepared in Word 2010 or later, with text in B Lotus font size 12, and English text in Times New Roman font size 10.
- The article must be clear, fluent, and free from spelling errors. Foreign terms with accurate Farsi equivalents should be avoided, and the foreign equivalents of names and terms should be provided in continuous footnotes on each page.
- Charts, tables, and figures should be prepared in Office software in Persian and sized 8×12 or 16×12. They should be sequentially numbered and self-explanatory without referring to the text.
- Charts, figures, and tables that are not the author's original work must include a number, title, and source (tables and charts at the top, and figures at the bottom).
- Titles and font types should be according to Table 1 provided at the end of this guide.
- C) Citation Methods
- In-Text Citations:
1.1. In-text citations should be in parentheses with the author's last name and publication year; e.g., (Motaghizadeh, 1389) or (Smith, 1990). Direct quotations from scientific texts should be avoided as it is important for researchers to ethically paraphrase others' work.
1.2. For multiple authors, citations should be in the format (Author and Colleagues, Year); e.g., (Motaghizadeh and Colleagues, 1389) or (Smith et al., 2004).
1.3. Internet sources should be cited as (Author's Last Name / Name of the Reference Compiler, Year).
1.4. If an author has multiple sources from the same year, the month or season of publication should be included; e.g., (Ahmadi, Autumn 1388) and (Ahmadi, Spring 1388), or (Digman, Jan 1999 and Apr 1999).

At the end of the article, sources used in the text should be listed in alphabetical order as follows:
2.1. Authored Book: Last Name, First Name (Year of Publication). Title of the Book. Edition (if applicable). Place of Publication: Publisher.
2.2. Translated Book: Last Name, First Name (Ed.) (Year of Publication). Title of the Book. Translator’s name, Place of Publication: Publisher.
2.3. Article in Journal: Last Name, First Name (Year of Publication). "Title of the Article." Title of the Journal, Volume (Issue): Page numbers.
2.4. Online Source: Last Name, First Name / Name of the Reference Compiler (Year). "Title of the Document." URL Link, Date of Upload, Date of Access.
