The academic journal "Strategic Studies of the Islamic Revolution" is a scholarly publication dedicated to research on the principles of the Islamic Revolution, its current and future challenges and issues, as well as the elucidation of the ideology, biography, and model of governance of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Grand Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Articles submitted undergo specialized peer review and, upon approval by the editorial board, are published. The publisher of this journal is the Cultural Research Institute of the Islamic Revolution. Review and Evaluation Process:
Given the large number of submissions, the editor or a specialized associate editor conducts an initial assessment based on:
- The journal’s aims and scope,
- Originality and novelty,
- Non-duplication (i.e., not previously published or under consideration elsewhere),
- Research quality.
During this initial assessment, some submissions are rejected and returned to the author, while others are approved. Approved manuscripts undergo similarity checks in systems such as Samim Noor. Selected manuscripts are then sent for peer review. Reviewers evaluate the submissions based on criteria such as originality and quality. They may either reject the manuscript or request revisions. Once the author has made the necessary revisions, the manuscript proceeds to editing and publication.
